The Cape Cafe Dessert Theatre is a unique Off Broadway type venue located in the heart of Cape Coral, Florida! We presents exclusive open end runs of the popular plays of Joe Simonelli and Lori Sigrist! An intimate 40 seat venue, the price of admission includes coffee and dessert!

Joe Simonelli's MEN ARE DOGS, performs every Saturday night at 7 pm with a Sunday matinee at 2 pm. (doors open 1/2 hour before the performance for coffee and dessert! ) All tickets are just $25 dollars. Reservations required! call 239-363-0848 or email capecafetheatre@gmail.com

ABOUT THE STAFF
Cape Cafe Theatre is jointly owned and run by Joe Simonelli and Chris Durso (a couple of proud, transplanted North East Italian Americans!) Both men wear many hats. Both are actors who both direct and appear in many plays! Simonelli writes the plays (some with his writing partner Lori Sigrist) and Durso, carrying on the tradition that his father started in a local Connecticut bakery called Durso's Delites, does all the baking! Chris Durso is executive director while Joe Simonelli acts as Artistic Director. In many cases two plays may be staged at the same time in a repertory format! Both Chris and Joe look forward to seeing you at the theatre. We also welcome any actors or support staff (stage manager/ light and sound tech) who wish to join us! A small per show stipend is paid to all actors and support staff.

The theatre is located inside Durso's Delites Cafe. 110 NE 2nd Place, Cape Coral Fl. between Hancook Blvd and Pine Island Road. If you are travelling West from RTE 41 then proceed down Hancook Parkway past Cultural Park Blvd about 1/2 mile and turn right at the Tires Plus, then another right into the mall (Key food straight ahead, Burger King on your left) We are located halfway down the center on the right hand side next to Educators music store.
